• To stimulate Christian growth through Biblical instruction, social, and recreational activities.
• To teach outdoor skills.
• To foster an appreciation and love for nature.
• To train young people in the art of leadership and counseling.
OUR BOARD
The Gospel Light Bible Camp Board is composed of members from various communities around southwest Manitoba. The current Board members are:

OUR COUNSELLORS
When asking a camper what their favourite memories of camp are, quite often the response has something to do with their counsellors. Whether it’s the crazy skit they did, or the campfire stories they told… That’s why we place a lot of importance on accepting high-quality individuals. People who will go out of their way to make campers feel at ease and comfortable. We also seek enthusiastic and energetic counsellors in order to provide the skills, games, and activities that campers will remember.

The Davey family
Hello! We are the Davey family: Harrison, Amy, Irelyn (7), and Céilí (5).
We are so excited to be the directors of GLBC this year! We recently moved from serving in the inner city of Winnipeg to Boissevain, where we attend and serve at Living Hope Community Church. Harrison grew up attending Richmond Park MB Church and has great memories of going to Gospel Light when he was young. Amy is a pastor’s kid from the state of Maine but moved to Winnipeg for university and fell in love with the people of Friendly Manitoba.
We love God, His church, His people, and we love camp! See you in July, it’s going to be a blast!
